Giniling Festival

True to its name, Giniling Festival's brand of music is influenced by a wide variety of genres (ranging from rock, funk, blues, classical, etc). Formed in 2003, the band has since developed a certain formula for their kick-ass performances: good vibes, stage presence, and musical hubris, combined with the determination to make a lasting mark on the crowd, even if only a single soul is watching. The band members are drawn together by a common pleasure to "entertain" not just the audience but also themselves. The themes of their songs explore the most remote (to the absurd) situations in Philippine society which result in the band's masa appeal. Ultimately, for Giniling Festival, performing is not just about the music, it's also about entertainment. Every show is a festival where everyone's invited to enjoy the music that the band is more than happy to offer.
